Since its inception in 2009, DAD-Cameroon has played a vital role in streamlining the management of development assistance in Cameroon. Implemented through the collaborative efforts of Synergy, MINEPAT, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the system has empowered stakeholders with access to accurate, real-time data on the technical and financial progress of development projects.
These actionable insights have enabled the government and its technical and financial partners to make informed decisions regarding project execution and strategic planning. Over the years, the platform has evolved into a cornerstone of development planning, allowing MINEPAT to secure reliable data for tracking aid projects and aligning national budgets with development priorities. Today, the successful local ownership of DAD-Cameroon by MINEPAT reflects the system’s sustainability and its integration into Cameroon’s governance framework.
