Synergy is proud to announce that DAD will become Cameroon’s aid information management system.
The Government of Cameroon took the strategic decision to establish a DAD system in order to support its ownership of the country’s development agenda and to effectively coordinate donor activities. As part of its selection process, the Government invited the major providers of aid information management systems to Yaoundé to present their respective products.
In late 2008, Arshak Hovanesian, Synergy’s International Relations Advisor, visited Yaoundé and met with key government officials and donor representatives to discuss the expected benefits that DAD would bring to Cameroon’s development context. Following a competitive bidding process, the Government awarded Synergy a contract to develop Cameroon’s aid information management system. In addition, Synergy will work closely with the Government, particularly the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development, to strengthen local capacities in managing the system. The projected is supported by the UNDP country office.
DAD Cameroon will be a fully bi-lingual system, available in French and English
