Needs Assessment
 
Synergy will send a senior staff member directly to your designated location to conduct a week long needs assessment mission. The objective of this mission is to determine the exact inter and intra organizational needs and user requirements that will facilitate the development of our comprehensive solution. All needs assessments are conducted in person to establish the Synergy point of contact who will continue to work with you throughout your project's implementation. During the needs assessment mission presentations will be made to key stakeholders, information flows and currently implemented systems will be reviewed, data will be collected to determine the structure of the software, and a detailed list of hardware and personnel requirements will be defined and communicated.



Project Design and Management

Our project management and engineering processes have been enhanced over the years via the incorporation of best practices identified by the software industry.  We develop each customer solution iteratively by continuously verifying software quality and identifying problems at the early stages.

Because we take great pride in the quality of our work on any project, Synergy regularly performs vigorous testing and fine-tuning of the application, culminating in the final release of the customer solution. Communication between our company and our clients consists of constant interaction with all involved parties.  Clients and project partners rely on this type of feedback to facilitate and further enhance software products and engineering practices.  This collaborative approach ensures optimal results for any project Synergy is managing.


Deployment and Localization

Synergy will deploy your customized solution by sending our technical staff to install the software system on your local servers.  Per pre-identified requirements, the newly installed system will be integrated with current systems, and data from legacy systems will be imported to facilitate a smooth transition and maintain operational effectiveness.  Systems designated for use in multiple languages will be implemented as well. We can also provide managed hosting during the deployment phase while local technical infrastructure is secured and commissioned.


Training & Documentation

Synergy makes sophisticated Web technology accessible to users with little or no computer training by packaging complex data structures, algorithms, and procedures into user-friendly, simple, logical, and easy-to-use software. 

Cross-trained teams of Synergy professionals provide help desk support, e-mail support and on-site training to end-users and system administrators, as well as special "train-the-trainer" sessions. User's guides, administrator's guides, installation manuals and accompanying detailed documentation are included with all Synergy applications. We realize how important one-to-one interaction is, so our dedicated training experts provide extensive personal technical support to our client's staff throughout the duration of our project engagements.



System Monitoring & Maintenance

In addition to delivering state-of-the-art technology products, Synergy provides comprehensive implementation expertise and an extensive range of client services to deliver integrated solutions, including technical support, hosting and other information technology services.

Synergy's dedicated support team provides a comprehensive range of remote technical monitoring and maintenance functions, including:

Remote server setup and configuration, including installation of all pre-required software packages for our applications and server preparation to facilitate work with Synergy applications.
Remote installation of Synergy applications
Monitoring Synergy application performance as well as all pre-required software packages such as Tomcat, SQL server, or IIS.
Alert-based notification & remote troubleshooting in the event of application failures such as server downtime or malfunction.
Database backup
Archiving for future analyses in case of emergency recovery
Remote technical support and repair of configuration settings
Tracking of usage statistics on our applications, including pages accessed, time, resources used, actions taken, and number of downloads.

 

In many Web-database and Web portals systems developed by Synergy, we have also served as an ASP, providing full hosting and maintenance services to our clients. Our system administrators take full responsibility for system maintenance, disaster recovery back-ups, database consistency and integrity. We provide hosting on a secure network, daily system back-up, a remote host site with emergency service, nightly data duplication to the emergency server and 24/7 support.
