Our Public Investment Database (PID) organizes information on governmental investment programs financed by multiple internal and external resources.
The main objective of the PID is to facilitate effective design and implementation of governmental investment strategy, including:
pre-investment planning establishing priority sectors and regions determining which projects to finance according to these priorities
The PID helps to ensure that funds are allocated within the overall budget of the government by tracking the disbursement of public investment funds and reallocating unused funds according to the implementation schedule and disbursement rates of each project.
The system helps national governments to monitor their public investment programs, and provides a powerful reporting tool for comprehensive financial (investment and expenditure) and activity analysis.
